CPBH Full Day Seminar on “Essentials for Purchasing a Newly Built Home”

CPBH continues to offer our popular seminar, which includes these key topics:
- Selecting a builder: Not all builders are equal. Purchasers should make the selection of their builder a key part of their purchase decision criteria;
- Before you sign the agreement of purchase and sale: Hear about what legal clauses should be avoided, and what ones should be included from a consumer protection perspective;
- The role of the municipality: Understand the municipality’s role - and its limitations;
- The role of the private home inspector: CPBH recommends that all new homes be inspected by qualified, private home inspector before the owner takes possession; and
- Claims to the warranty program – Home warranty information from a lawyer’s perspective. Hear about what is and isn’t covered by your warranty program.
